Join us for the Hibiscus Coast AFC Annual Golf Day, a fun-filled afternoon bringing together local businesses, club members, sponsors, friends and the wider community to support football on the Hibiscus Coast.

Whether you're a low handicap golfer or simply enjoy a social round, this event is designed for everyone. Expect plenty of laughs, friendly competition and opportunities to win fantastic prizes.

The Format

Pure Teamwork. Everyone tees off, the team picks the best shot, and everyone plays from there. Repeat until the ball is holed out. One team score per hole.

The Rules

  • Move & Place: Drop or place your ball within one club-length of the chosen shot (must stay in the same condition—if you choose a shot in the rough, everyone plays from the rough).

  • On the Green: Place within one card-length of the marker.

The Strategy: "The 5-Drive Rule"

To keep the field level, you can’t just rely on your team's biggest hitter all day.

  • The Rule: You must choose at least 5 tee shots from every player during the 18 holes.

  • Track It: Write the initials of the player whose drive you used on the scorecard for every hole.

Handicaps & Scoring

We use a team handicap to keep the playing field completely fair.

  • The Cap: Maximum individual handicap is 24 (any player higher than 24 plays off 24 for the day).

  • The Team Total: Your Team Handicap is 15% of your combined individual handicaps.

  • The Winner: At the end of the day, we subtract your Team Handicap from your Gross Score to get your Net Score. Lowest Net Score wins!
