Raising the Game — Without Raising the Cost ? ⚽
HBCAFC Hub Trainings are designed to support the development of both players and coaches across our junior space, creating a stronger, more connected club environment.
This initiative allows all community teams (U8–U12) to make one of their weekly training sessions a Hub Session, where our qualified HBCAFC coaches work alongside team coaches to deliver engaging, high-quality sessions.
At the heart of Hub Training is community and connection. We’re bringing coaches together — creating an environment where ideas are shared, support is constant, and everyone is learning and improving together.
This approach:
Reduces the pressure on volunteer coaches, with session delivery supported by experienced HBCAFC staff
Provides a simple, structured training environment, so coaches don’t have to plan everything themselves
Creates opportunities for coaches to learn by doing, gaining confidence each week
Welcomes all coaches, regardless of experience — whether you’re new to coaching or have been involved for years
No previous coaching experience is required. Hub Trainings are designed to support, not replace, ensuring every coach feels confident, capable, and part of the wider club.
For players, this means:
More engaging and enjoyable sessions
Consistent, high-quality coaching
A positive and inclusive team environment
For coaches, it means:
Less stress
More support
Ongoing development
Together, we’re building a culture where everyone belongs, everyone contributes, and everyone grows.
