Clarrie Morgan Annual 9th Grade Tournament
Firstly it is named after the club founder Clarrie Morgan who is sadly not with us anymore. The tournament has been running for 15 years now!
First Games start at 9am, next round at 9:30.
The last finals kick off at 3:30. Check with your coach for your game times.
Games are 10 minutes each half 12 for semis and 15 for the finals.
Safety: Stanmore Bay is by the beach and surrounded by water the council has not fenced off the creek or the beach so please keep an eye on your children.
There is a lot of parking but this may be in a high demand so you may have to park on the road or across at the rugby league club opposite.
We have 24 boys teams and 11 girls teams.
The boys will play in four groups of 6. The top teams of the boys will go into a semi-final for the Championship, the 2nd teams will go into a semifinal for the plate and the 3rd teams will go into the semifinal bowl.
Girls: one group of 5 with a bye and one group of six.
Top two teams go into the semifinals for Championship and 2nd and 3rd teams for the plate.
There will be trophies for the winners and medals for the runners-up. The bottom two girls and bottom three boys teams will go home after the pool games.
Cancellations will typically be emailed to coaches on the Saturday night before 6pm but can be made on the day for safety reasons. It will also be on the clubs facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pg/HibiscusCoastAFC/posts/?ref=notif
